Funding Our Future, One Penny At A Time
From thriving industry and personal enrichment opportunities to strong health, safety and educational institutions, leadership in Greenwood County has always strived to strengthen our community by investing in projects that position our region for success and growth.
The 2016 tax will end on April 30th, 2025, but our progress doesn’t have to! Vote Yes on November 5th to keep turning pennies into progress.
The 2024 Capital Projects Sales Tax Initiative will generate $121+ million for needed capital improvements. A vote of “yes” will help fund 27 projects in the following categories:
- Public Safety
- Economic Development
- Infrastructure
- Quality of Life
- Parks and Recreation
