(21) $922,129 for upgrades/improvements to the interior and exterior of the facility currently known as the Railroad Depot, owned by and located within the Town of Ninety Six;

Project Overview

The Ninety Six Railroad Depot, serving as a community center and event venue was built in 1915, and is on the Historical Register. This project includes structural foundation repair (see photos in Appendix C), repainting, repainting a portion of the brick, re-roofing, a kitchen upgrade, install/repair decking and accessible ramp meeting ADA requirements. Additionally, the interior floor will be evaluated for repair. As a historical building, the use of an architectural firm experienced with historical requirements will be necessary.
